The hunt is still on for Des Taviner who holds Sergeant Sheelagh Murphy and PC Cameron Tait hostage. Sheelagh has left her mobile on and connected to DCI Jack Meadows to give them a lead on their whereabouts. But Taviner soon realises that Sheelagh is double crossing him and during a dramatic road chase drives the car straight into a tunnel. With the full force of Sun Hill in pursuit and the road ahead closed, it seems as if Taviner's days on the run are numbered.
