With a five-year-old girl in hospital having accidentally ingested crack cocaine, the search is on to find her mother—and it's not long before Sgt Matt Boyden realises the missing woman is none other than his own tearaway daughter Amy. But the case takes on a different dimension for PC Gary Best when he discovers that colleague PC Nick Klein was also in the taxi that dropped the little girl off.
